Zincatura Dalla Torre A. S.r.l.

Zincatura Dalla Torre Antonio Ltd. has its origins as a sole proprietorship in 1960 when the founder, Antonio Dalla Torre, left the chrome and brass plating business that the family had been involved in for several generations. He decided to focus solely on the zinc coating sector, introducing the first automation processes.

    Founder Antonio Dalla Torre grew up learning coppering and nickel-plating from his father and grandparents and set up his sole proprietorship Cromatura Dalla Torre Antonio (galvanic baths, metal chrome-plating and galvanising), later leaving the chrome and nickel-plating business to specialise ONLY IN GALVANIZING, inserting the first automatisms.

    The company changed its name and with the establishment of Zincatura Dalla Torre Antonio Srl, the management was completely entrusted to his son-in-law Fabio Fumagalli, who led the company towards a generational change, equipping it with automatic plants and robotised systems capable of increasing production, quality and services and reducing manual work and physical fatigue for employees.

    Sensitive to environmental issues and with the aim of continuous improvement, a Scrubber washing tower is installed to reduce and neutralise emissions, vapours, and polluting dust, with the goal of filtering and purifying the air.

Year 1986

In 1986, with the establishment of the Ltd. (Limited Company) and management entrusted to the Fumagalli family, the company equipped itself with fully automated facilities and, most importantly, with robotic systems to increase production while reducing manual labour and physical fatigue of the employees. Simultaneously, this led to an improvement in product quality, making the company a benchmark in the local and neighbouring provinces for its production capacity, quality, and services.

Year 1999

In 1999, the company moved to the new industrial area in Vacil Di Breda Di Piave, with new equipment and facilities initially covering an area of 3500 square metres and now, after further expansion, 5500 square metres.

The company stands out for carrying out all zinc coating processes with a static plant, the largest in the electroplating field in the UK. It is the only plant in the UK capable of performing black zinc coating for pieces up to 6 metres in length, in addition to two rotary barrel plants with a total production capacity of 1,000/1,500 quintals per day.
